Inner Confidence On The Streets
I took a small group of my VIP students out tonight to work on approaching strangers. As opposed to most approach exercises and drills, we actually have fun! Their objective was to step out of their comfort zones and get comfortable being outrageous with strangers. I had them use a video camera to record the fun and urged them all to say things that would make them feel really embarrassed.
Why embarrassed you ask?
When you are feeling embarrassed and ashamed, its a tell tale sign that you are wayyy out of your comfort zone and that is how we grow. It’s just like lifting weights in the gym. Baby steps over a short period of time can make a huge difference for how you feel inside and the confidence you exude in social situations.
Watch this video as one of my awesome students shocks this couple with a hilarious question… The magic happens at the 32 second mark of the video.
See that, fun for the whole family!

Finally heard it. Lee you couldn’t resist for a second there. C’mon work with Cameron dude. There was tension release with that last question. That girl wanted to run!!! OMG…
@Robbie Kramer
That reminds me of I spy. I do know why.
From the movie: “I see you looking at me looking at you looking at me looking at you”. You figured out a way to laugh.Awesome.
@Einar Coutin
It wasn’t me filming, it was a couple of the other students. I was filming them filming.
@Robbie Kramer
I’m at work so I cannot hear what they’re saying. I can only grasp that 56 % of Communication that is Body Language. I was surprised by the question(thanks for posting that text) and I didn’t noticed they laughed afterward although I wonder if you managed to hold while filming this thing. I know you and I haven’t seen you do that yet. Damn, now I have to hold my laughter too!!
@Einar Coutin
What?? I’m totally confused by your comment, please explain
I didn’t imagined that. Did the tension broke afterward?
My horse for some earphones…But I can imagine it. Let’s see that 56 %.
Awesome.
