I often get a lot of questions about specific pickup skills from guys who are trying to improve with women.

“How do I open a mixed 5 set?” (mixed 5 set = a group of 5 people with both men and women)

“How do I isolate my target?” (target = girl I like)

“How do I deal with LMR?” (LMR = resistance women give you before sex)

Do you ask yourself questions like this? If so, you are probably making life much harder on yourself than it has to be.  The language we use creates our context for how we view the world.  Kinda like how a pair of sunglasses makes everything look darker then reality.  If you are writing in pickup lingo (targets, LMR, HB, sets, DHV, etc…) then you are thinking in terms of pickup lingo.  If you are thinking in terms of pickup, it means you are using strategy to meet women.  Even if you are really good at the strategies and a master at the game, you are shooting yourself in the foot!

If you think you need a strategy or game plan, you are telling yourself that you are not good enough as you are.  Women are attracted to one thing – confidence!  If you are not good enough as you are, how can you be confident?  So if you’re already relatively successful with women (you get dates, phone numbers and have sex more then 3 times a year), it’s time to leave the strategies at the door and build your inner confidence if you want to be a master.  Masters are humble, masters leave a legacy, masters leave people better then when they found them and most of all, masters tell the truth.  If you make the truth the most important thing in your life, you will be incredibly successful and accomplish anything you are willing to go after.  If you live a lie and try to cut corners, manipulate and use cheap tricks to achieve success, you will probably never get there and be miserable if you do. I’ve tried and I know it doesn’t work!

It’s funny because 50% of the guys who hear about the seduction community find out about it by reading “The Game” by Niel Strauss.  They all want to become pickup artists after reading it, yet the moral of the story is “Be yourself, tell the truth and you’ll get the girl.”  The first time I read it, I completely missed that part and decided I wanted to be a PUA too.  It’s not a coincidence that sometimes we have to make things harder then they have to be.  It took me 2 years to really get that being a PUA wasn’t the solution and then I started seeing tremendous results.  So whether you are new to this stuff or you’ve been at it for a while, you can cut the learning curve in half if you really hear what I’m saying.
