Rant on discipline and avoiding living life like you're a sad sack of sugar coated silly putty...
Guest post by a Leverage Program moderatorYou all know Boston and the Northeast are buried under serious snow to the point that we have actual driving bans, etc.Observation #1 - few to no people have shown up to the office when it snows hard. Fine... However, I was here today. And I've gone in every day it's snowed.Observation #2 - Every familiar face was at the gym today, it was packed as usual. And it's an Equinox and it costs $175/mo.The fact that the gym was packed with the same faces is probably primarily location based... But I can't be the only person who lives walking distance from my office. So that doesn't explain why my floor with apx 150 people who work for different businesses had 3 people on it including me.This is about butch made fuckers like that last kid who got kicked out of the group for missing his workout bet because he was with some chick. And then he begged for forgiveness and couldn't take the ridicule for skipping his bet. Crazy! If you sign up for something... don't let it sit there and rot.Take it seriously.People who go to the gym every day know this cold. All of those people in the gym were all at their office today too, I know, we talked about it and had a good laugh about it.There's a lesson in here for the group.People often learn a lot from sports and athletics for good reason. It teaches you that nothing comes easy and discipline is 99% of winning the game. See Tom Brady, legend, super model crusher, greatest QB ever, list goes on...The same attitude applies to making the theory in this group and Robbie's work valuable. The softies always drop out and never get anywhere... While the beasts in the group are left up to their necks in a sea of untapped pussy because everyone else can't hang. Conclusion from my observation: I'm never hiring anyone who doesn't go to the gym on a regular basis.End rant.-MaxModerator in The Leverage Mentorship
